Super stable, versatile, easy to use and well priced,
Most of the multi-monitor stands are more expensive, and I was wondering what I would have to sacrifice if I bought this model for $79.90 + shipping. I called the retailer, [...] and talked to one of their staff.
She was quite knowledgeable, assured me that it’s a solid, high-quality piece of equipment, and informed me that there is another mounting option: instead of the weighted base, you can also secure the vertical pole through a drill hole in the desktop, using included hardware. As it turns out, I don’t need that option, but it’s good to know.
I unpacked and set up the monitor stand yesterday. I had it set up in 5 minutes, and had my monitors mounted to it in another 10 minutes. Very easy! The adjustable holders are easy to work with, the stand overall is very heavy and stable, and the result is visually impressive. For a dual-monitor setup with today’s wide-screen LCDs, I think vertical mounting, rather than side-by-side, is really the way to go.
One caveat: The range of positioning is limited as compared to other stands that have articulating arm mounts for each of the monitors. So, for example, you can’t position the two monitors at different depths. Basically, the adjustments are tilt, swivel and rotation. Look at the photos and do the math. This limitation is easily apparent from looking at the description and photos, and the product is still a great bargain, so I’m not knocking a star off for that. But it would be nice if the company sold an optional holder with an articulating arm.

|Solid like a rock,
My concern was this being flimsy. I could take this to the next riot. It says the weight limit is 13 lb each monitor. That must have to do with the clamp or destroying what it is clamped to. That is NOT going to damage the vertical bar or mounting clamp. 50 lb is not going to damage the bar and I would confidently test 100 lb.
So now I have a 24″ over a 22″ with a KVM switch going through my other machines. It is still a complicated mess but it sure impresses the natives.
BTW: The 24″ is a TV. Watch for sales. They are much more versatile than monitors and getting to the fair price of just a few bucks more than plain monitors.

|Excellent for the price,
Bought this to mount a screen above my dual screen setup. Did the job perfectly. They mount is very sturdy and well made. Instructions were not very through, but the product is very easy to figure out.
My sole criticism is that everything is tightened by a allen key, which means that any sort of adjustment requires a bit more effort vs. other brands such as Ergotron. Then again, a comparable Ergotron would easily cost 4 times as much.
Does what I need very well and for the lowest cost. Highly recommended!

|Think twice before buying this for 22″ monitors,
I was really excited to get this setup. I have four monitors (one a notebook) and wanted to get them off my desk so I could have more room. The listing says they’re good for ‘up to 22″ monitors’. That is partially true in my case. That is, my Samsung SyncMaster 2220WM are 22″ and yes, the stand holds them but, they do not sit side by side unless you want an entirely flat screen all the way across. You cannot adjust this so that it will let you angle the two ends so they fit flush with the center monitor. Now I have a entirely flat area from end to end (really annoying). This might work great with 19″ monitors but, do not buy if you want to use for 22″ ones. Great price, great construction, (by the way a major pain in the butt as they left out two screws that hold the unit onto the post so I spent over an hour and a half going back and forth to hardware store (finally got some 5/16 x 1/2″ screws to fit)). How hard can it be to include 12 monitor screws (they did), two hex key screws for post (included) and two screws to attach the unit to the post (not included)? Can you say return? What a bummer (and I was so frickin excited)!

Customer Video Review Length:: 1:40 Mins
I’ve been looking for quite awhile for a triple monitor arm mount to suspend my monitors and get rid of the individual stands and clutter. Most of all I want to clean my desk with ease. I was surprised about the price when I first saw this product. I’m glad I found this particular piece, after reading all the reviews and doing some research….I’m sold! my order arrived within 2 business days even though I only took the regular shipment (5-7 business days)…I took a video to help you guys see for yourselves…other products like this one cost over 300-500.
This mount is best for (3x)19″ monitors or a combination of 22″ in the middle and 19″ in both sides but this isn’t for you if ur looking to mount (3x)22″ monitors, you’ll end up with flat straight view from end to end (you wont be able to angle the side monitors).
If you have a 19″ V7 monitor…you have to make some modification on the back of the monitor. After you remove the stand that came with the monitor you’ll notice the two bumps is on the way and it wont lay flat with the plate. All you have to do is grind those plastic bumps off the monitor with a dremel or drill around the bumps till you get to the metal then just sway the two metal plates with pliers that’s sticking out till it comes off…its the only way you can use that particular monitor with this mount.

|Well built three-monitor stand,
Heavy duty economical three-monitor stand. I have two Hanns-G and one Acer 20″ widescreen monitors on one of them, and two Acers with a Hanns-G 20″ on the other. All hardware was included. The joints on the arms have adjustable torque, so you can make them as loose as you want. It adjusts from 6 1/2″ off the desk (to the bottom of the middle monitor) to about 4″ higher (plenty for sitting down). I can get fairly nice angles on the two side monitors by placing the bevels behind the side of the center monitor. Edge to edge, the monitors take up about 54″ across the desk.
I had to cut a 5″ x 7″ hole in the back sheet metal of my one desks because the exposed edge wasn’t large enough for the clamp. Fortunately it’s up against the wall and isn’t seen, and it’s a fairly cheap desk. The base is about 4″ x 4″ so you need about that much of a footprint on the desk. On the second (walnut) desk I only had about 1 1/2″ to clamp to but the top is about 1 1/4″ thick and the mount seems secure. No, I wasn’t going to cut a gaping hole in that one even though it too is against a wall. The clamp has some padding so it shouldn’t mark up the top of the desk very much.
The screen can adjust up to almost flat (looking at the ceiling) and down to where you can’t see it. It rotates all the way around to portrait if you want. If you have someone sitting next to the desk (like a clerk in a law office) you could rotate a screen so they could see. But there’s no way to adjust the height (in the Y direction) of each monitor individually. So if you have two different brands of monitors they won’t line up as well as you’d like. Also the X direction can only be affected by swinging the arm toward you or away from you. So it’s a bit limited, but for the price compared to the $300.00 ones I was looking at it is great. The front of the middle screen is about 13″ from the back of the desk I had to cut (where the clamp is on all the way) or 18″ from the front (30″ width total). On the walnut desk it’s about 11″ from the back (where I only got a 1 1/2″ bite with the clamp base) and 23 inches from the front (33 1/2″ total width).
Plan on longer cables though, especially if you want to use the cable management and your tower is on the floor. I had to order at least 10 foot cables, and 15 feet might be better in some instances. This will add cost, but you’d have to do it with just about any multi-monitor setup. By the time the cable goes along the underside of the arm, over the top and down the middle of the big post, through a hole in the back, then down to the tower, you’ll need extra length. The cable ends do fit fairly well through the hole in the back.
I’ll probably buy some of these for stock.
