DOA remote – - BD-D5500C 3D BLUE RAY PLAYER,
Checked these reviews on Amazon.com, AFTER making the purchase…my remote did not want to work at all. Went to the Samsung web site to see if there was an issue with the remote and was greeted by a CSR on chat. Whoever the person was, they diagnosed the problem correctly after having me shine the remote into a digital camera (the camera can see the InfraRed as a blue light). The remote was pulsing a IR light constantly and went out when any key was pressed – - just the opposite of what it was supposed to do. I had a new remote in my hands, which worked correctly, sent by Samsung at no charge within 5 working days. Great Customer Service for me!

|Pretty good 3D and Blu-Ray player.(FREE HDMI CORD!!!),
This Blu-Ray player is very cheap looking and the feel is cheap as well. But for the price i received it for made up for the cheaply feel. Anything above 60.00 is to much. But it does what it says and plays Blu-Rays and up-converts Dvd’s well.Also an added plus was the free HDMI cord that comes with the player! I wasn’t to sure that it actually came with the product because of other bad reviews that i had read on other websites saying that it said but never came with it.I am happy that it does.
The Internet apps work very well and so does the 3D. Also the touch screen added feature is pretty neat and works pretty good, but sometimes you have to give it a couple of try’s to get it to respond. It’s a cheap player but does the job, but like I said you might not be to happy paying 130.00 and above and then to find out how cheap it prob was to make. Purchase used or so and you won’t be dissatisfied.
